Almost 5 months & not very good about updating...

On October 12th our baby girl will be 5 months old! I cannot believe how fast time flies but I guess it's true...time flies when you're having fun! And that's what life has been...fun! So much so that who has time to blog!!! I just thought for those that are interested you might want to see some updated pictures....

Around 3/4 months we had a photo shoot with Ashley Poole because I really wanted to get a good picture of the three of us. We had such a fun time and got some great shots of our sweet little girl.

I cannot begin to tell you how much joy this sweet little girl brings to our life! She has such a sweet spirit and so easy going. She loves to laugh at mommy & daddy, finally rolled over from her tummy to her back (yesterday), loves to suck her thumb, fingers, etc., sleeps beautifully through the night most of the time, always smiles with her mouth wide open, and loves to "talk"! We are blessed because of her! Thank you Lord!!

Bath time!!

This weekend Adam & Matthew (my BIL) participated in a golfing event so Ashley (my SIL) and I decided it would be fun to take the kids to Papa & Grammy's beach condo for the weekend. We had a great time relaxing and I was thankful that I was able to get some sun while Addison napped thanks to Grammy & Ash!! I can't wait until all 3 of them are running around in the sand building sand castles and swimming in the ocean/pool. Fun times!!

Thirty

On the 12th of this month I turned the big three-oh!! To celebrate my husband threw me a surprise b-day party at my favorite restaurant (Hot Olives). I LOVED celebrating with my family and friends and could not have imagined a better night~ well I guess it could have been cooler but that's a lot to ask for the middle of July.(Now I know why I always had pool parties as a kid!) Addison 10 weeks

I cannot believe Addison will be 10 weeks tomorrow. She is changing so much. She has started holding her head up and she is smiling like crazy. I still wake up every morning and I am in awe of the goodness of the Lord. I am amazed that the child that I asked for is now looking back at me and smiling. My heart is full! I know many of you are still longing for your own and I hope you know that I understand. He is with you in the waiting. He will do great things for you and He will fill you with joy!

Happy Father's Day!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Adam's first Father's Day yesterday. It was nice and relaxing and I was so excited about his gift. Shutterfly was offering a free 8 x 8; 20 pg photo book. So I was able to make him a father's day book of him and his little princess for only $8 (shipping~ nothing is really ever free). We went to church, came home for lunch & naps and then went over to his parent's house for burgers. I am so blessed to have such an incredible husband who is an amazing daddy! We love you!

2 weeks

I cannot believe it's been 2 weeks. Wow!! Addison is already changing so much and I am trying to savor it all! I guess that's why the blog has taken a back burner. I'd rather hold little miss then try and figure out what to write. She is such a doll and I love her so much. My mom has been in town and has been a life savor. I don't know what I would do without her. We went to the doctor today and he said that she is stellar when it comes to weight gain...7 lbs 15 oz...getting close to 8! I still can't believe that she is ours. What a true gift! I'm definitely pondering all of this in my heart and thankful that we serve a God who hears and answers our prayers.

40 weeks

Tomorrow I'm officially 40 weeks pregnant. It's hard to believe that the big "D" day has arrived. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon and hopefully I will know more about her progression. I feel like Addison has grown a lot over the past week so I'm not sure what they will say about inducing me. Last week, I could choose but I know things can change a lot a the end. I can't wait to meet our precious daughter that we have prayed for. Thank you to many of you who have also prayed...I still can't believe we have been so blessed with such a beautiful gift.
