Saying good-bye to nanny-hood!

Yesterday I was told that by the end of October the family I work for would no longer need me as their nanny. So here is my farewell to nanny-hood (even though it's a bit early)...It's been real, it's been fun, but now it's time to move on. A few our days captured on my iphone so picture quality is a bit poor but you get the idea of my year as "Aunie." The name Madison gave me when she was trying to say Aunt C.

Hollywood?
Swimming...at least her version of it.

Feeding the ducks...
Walking around in any kind of shoe she could find...

A beautiful day at the park!

Taking Swiper and Boots for a ride in the wagon.
I think I've seen almost every episode of Dora.
Reading at the book store...
Riding her giraffe.
Dancing at story time...
Swimming in the frog pool...
She use to dance around and sing
"I love frogs, I love frogs"

And now here she is as a 2 year old loving the camera singing her ABCs!!
**be sure to turn off my music so you can hear her**

Happy Labor Day!

We just got home from a nice relaxing weekend at the beach. We went over to New Smyrna Beach with my sister/brother-in-law, their daughter Avery, and our cute little pups Boomer and Bentley. I'm sad to say that we didn't take one picture! :-( I filled my time with one of my favorite things: reading a great book on the beach!! I read "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. If you enjoy reading, it's a must read!! The ocean was pretty rough so Adam & Matthew had fun riding the waves!! Ashley and I preferred the pool so we took Avery swimming while the boys played in the waves. On Sunday, Adam's brother Will came home from FSU and drove up for a visit. It was nice to catch up with him as he just started his freshman year. The boys also watched a ton of football. I forgot that our Saturday plans will now revolve around who's playing and the time of the game. I am proud to say the tide pulled through. Roll Tide Roll!! I hope your Labor Day was fun! Here's to a 4 day week!!
